Positive dog training is a kind, respectful and empathetic teaching and education method that prioritizes and focuses on animal welfare, based on positive reinforcement and the complete lack of punishment, corrective measures and aversive methods that can cause pain, fear, or stress. Through ethology, anthrozoology and canine education, we help families and their dogs solve behavioral problems, understand canine language, and foster a relationship of trust and collaboration.

EDUCATIONAL TALKS IN SCHOOLS AND HIGH SCHOOLS

Our educational talks go far beyond simple information sharing: they are a way of fostering respect, empathy and responsibility towards animals from an early age.
Designed for students in Years 7 to 9 (approximately ages 12–15), the sessions are dynamic and interactive, introducing young people to animal welfare, the real needs of dogs, and the importance of understanding how dogs communicate and interact with us.
Through explanations, visual resources, practical examples and direct observation, we explore topics such as dogs’ physiological, behavioural and emotional needs, canine body language, signs of wellbeing, fear, stress or discomfort, common mistakes in living with dogs, and the importance of respectful dog education.
The presence of Sau, our Golden Retriever and canine communication teacher, turns each session into a meaningful and engaging experience. His participation allows students to observe and understand directly how dogs communicate and why learning to recognise and respect their signals is essential for safe and respectful coexistence.
The sessions last approximately 45 minutes, fitting into a standard school lesson, and are held at the school itself.
AN IMPACT THAT GOES BEYOND THE CLASSROOM.
Our educational programme also has a clear social impact. The amount raised through each talk is divided equally between two purposes:
50% is donated to an animal shelter or rescue organisation in Mallorca or, if necessary, elsewhere in Spain, helping to improve the welfare and quality of life of the dogs in their care.
The remaining 50% covers the costs of delivering the activity, including travel, preparation and the materials required.
In this way, each talk not only provides students with an educational experience that encourages values such as empathy, respect and responsibility, but also contributes to improving the lives of dogs who need our help.
