At Social Dogs we have a team formed by qualified professional canine educators specializing in canine behavior, separation anxiety and anthrozoology. (To learn more about anthrozoology, click here and if you suspect your dog may be experiencing separation anxiety, please click here).

Our training is based on clinical ethology, animal welfare, and up-to-date scientific knowledge. In addition, we have been trained by nationally and internationally renowned ethologists and professionals such as Tomás Camps, Xavier Manteca, Marta Amat, Claudia Fugazza and Mariona Monrós, among others. In the field of anthrozoology, we have trained with leading professionals such as Marcos Díaz Videla, Paula Calvo and Nacho Maciel.

 

We apply positive reinforcement techniques based on science and clinical ethology, always putting animal welfare first. Sessions can be held both at our center in Calvià or at home.

 

We are fully committed to helping both you and your dog understand and address the causes of unwanted or inappropriate behaviours that may interfere with a balanced coexistence and harmonious social life, such as separation anxiety, destructive or aggressive behaviours, excessive barking, fears, or stress. Our goal is to improve these behaviours and help you create the most stable, safe, and balanced environment, relationship, and bond possible.

In addition to behavioural work, we also offer guidance in choosing the right dog for your family and lifestyle, whether through adoption from a shelter or rescue centre, or from a responsible breeder. We believe that making the right choice and receiving proper support from the very beginning can make a huge difference in future coexistence.

We also support families during the early stages of puppyhood, a crucial phase in which many people are unsure about how to do things correctly. We help you build strong foundations in areas such as socialisation, communication, emotional management, rest, play, and everyday learning.

We also work on obedience and canine education not only with the goal of having a well-mannered dog adapted to daily life, but also to strengthen the bond between the dog and their guardian, improve communication and everyday handling, learn to better understand their needs, and, of course, enjoy the process together and have a good time.
