Summer has started off with a bang this year. At certain times of the day, our dogs stare at the void, seek out the coolest areas of the house, and spend hours sleeping on the tiles while panting from the heat.

The luckiest among us are blessed with the sea breeze or air conditioning at home, but for many of us, these options aren't available or feasible. So, here's a map of all the dog-friendly beaches in Spain, along with a complete list by autonomous community.
You can click on the icons on the map to get more information regarding the beaches (photos, directions, opening hours, etc.). All this info is thanks to https://www.redcanina.es/.

These are the canine beaches of the Balearic Islands:
Dog-friendly beaches in Mallorca 2025:
Playa de Llenaire (Port de Pollença)
Playa de Na Patana (Santa Margarida)
Playa de Es Carnatge (Palm de Mallorca) Dogs are allowed to move around and bathe.
Cala Blanca (Andratx).
Cala dels Gats, in Costa de la Calma (Calvià)
Punta des Marroig, in Palmanova (Calvià)
Dog-friendly beaches in Menorca 2025:
Cala Binigaus (with restricted hours, dogs must be kept on a leash),
Cala Fustam (both are part of Es Migjorn Gran)
Dog-friendly beaches in Ibiza 2025:
On the island of Ibiza, we find two small coves in Santa Eulària del Riu:
To the north, there is a small bathing area in Es Faralló, next to Puig de s'Església Vella, easily accessible via Passeig Joan Canals Serra. This is a small cove measuring about 20m long.
To the south, a stretch of coastline has been designated for this use, including the last 10 meters of the right side of the river mouth and a small, unspoiled coastline.
You can also find another dog-friendly area in the city of Ibiza. It's located in the Es Viver area, accessible via Quartó de Balanzat Street. We wish you a happy summer, and if you discover a new beach not listed and would like to share it, we'd love to hear it!
